RMD calculator
Estimate this year’s RMD from an IRA you own. It uses the IRS Uniform Lifetime Table.
Estimate your RMD
Read this before you use the number
- It is an estimate to plan with. It is not tax advice.
- Is your only beneficiary a spouse more than 10 years younger? Then a different IRS table applies, and your RMD is lower.
- Inherited accounts use other rules and tables.
- Each 401(k) needs its own RMD. IRAs can be added up and taken from any one of them.
- The IRS table is in Publication 590-B.
